Zoo takes over library

    Fannin County Public Library doubled as a petting zoo on Wednesday, June 12 when several animals were brought in for the children to learn about and even pet. Roy from ZooPro Adventures hosted the exciting event.

    He went over each animal, getting them out of their cages and walking around so the kids could get a good look. He told lots of facts about each animal as well. Some were native to the area, and some were from other countries. He brought a snake, legless lizard, opossum, groundhog, chinchilla, and many more animals for the children to meet.

    After he told them about each animal, the children were able to form a line and pet some of the animals. They had the best time meeting each of the interesting animals.
