Fannin County voters can continue casting their ballots early this week or travel to the polls for election day Tuesday, June 9, to select their choices for the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP), General Voter 2020 Primary Election and Nonpartisan General Election.
Election Supervisor Mary Ann Conner said early voting will continue in the election office in the Fannin County courthouse through Friday, June 5. Voters can cast ballots from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
The election office is practicing social distancing. Conner said, “We have a sanitizing station set up at the door coming into the lobby, and we are allowing two voters at a time to check in and have only 4 units set up for voting.”
As of Monday, June 1, 864 early votes had been recorded, and 2,932 absentee ballots had been returned to the office.
Polls will be open election day, June 9, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. in all of Fannin County’s voting precincts.
