Online ticket sales for the annual Kiwanis Club/Mountain Valley Motors Championship Rodeo have been better than sponsors anticipated.
Rodeo Chairman Kevin Panter said Monday the Kiwanis club has sold “more advance tickets online than ever before.”
He reminds rodeo enthusiasts that advance tickets are required this year.
“The numbers are limited until the tickets are sold out, but when they’re gone, they’re gone,” Panter said.
As of Monday, tickets were still available at www.blueridgerodeo.com by clicking “Buy Tickets Here.” Some were also available at Mountain Valley Motors, Mountain Valley Community Bank, United Community Bank and Kevin Panter Insurance.
Panter also announced that Miss Rodeo USA will return for this year's event and shuttle parking will be offered.
Rodeo goers will be able to park at Fannin County Middle School and be taken to the fairgrounds courtesy of ETC, Panter said. The service begins at 6 p.m.
Rodeo gates open at 6 p.m. and events start each night this week, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
