Micah Todd Prince, 37, remained in the Fannin County jail this week, held without bond on charges of rape and kidnapping.
Prince, of 895 Madola Road, Epworth, was denied bond April 10.
Prince was arrested in connection with an incident that allegedly took place in mid-December 2019.
According to a report filed by sheriff’s office Investigator John Arp, Prince forced his victim to leave with him from the residence where she was staying in northern Fannin County.
He then kept her in his truck, which had run out of gas, overnight, repeatedly attacking her.
She was able to escape the next morning when Prince took her and left the truck to get gas.
The victim was later taken to Fannin Regional Hospital and a deputy was called. After an initial interview, the case was turned over to Arp.
Arp conducted several interviews and then took the charges against Prince.
The suspect was taken into custody April 9.
The suspect and the victim knew each other, according to the report.
