Suicide prevention bench donated

The Fannin County Recreation Center was recently donated a bench by Josh’s Benches For Awareness Corporation, which is a non-profit for suicide prevention and awareness.

The yellow bench comes with the words, “National Suicide Prevention Lifeline” at the top and says “If you want to talk, 1-800-273-8255.”

Josh Nadelbach, was a 21 year old who tragically lost his life to suicide.

On the website, joshsbenches.com, Cindy Nadelbach, Josh’s mother, said, “We want to have his (Josh’s) legacy live on and we know he would want us to help save the lives of others.

That is why I set up the GoFundMe to get the yellow benches to be made and placed in all schools, college campuses, and public parks/areas.”
