Special Olympics events return to FCHS football field

  • The Knights of Columbus Blue Ridge Council 12126 presented $4,005.94 to Fannin County Special Olympics at the start of the track and field events at the high school football stadium last week. The money was raised in cooperation with La Pizzeria when the restaurant off Forge Mill Road celebrated its Grand Reopening Thursday, April 11. All proceeds from the event, as well as tips and donations went to Special Olympics.
