Jeeps from all around will join in on the Riding the Ridges event for a Santa “Cause” Saturday, June 27.
The event is used as a fundraiser benefiting the Fannin County Shop with a Cop program, and all proceeds will be used to buy Christmas gifts for Fannin County kids in need while bringing Jeep enthusiasts, family and friends together within the community.
Before jeeps hit the trail, event goers will have the opportunity eat a meal, purchase event T-shirts and win a few raffle prizes including oil changes, decals, insulated tumblers, T-Shirts, baskets, gift certificates to local dining and more.
Participants will gather at Fannin County Middle School, located at 4560 Old Hwy 76, Blue Ridge Ga 30513, 11 a.m. and pull out for the ride close to noon.
“This years ride will be like no other,” event organizers said. “Riding the Ridge is a true description of this years event.”
Those who choose to join will be able to jeep to multiple destinations including Buzzard Roost, Springer Mountain, Winding Stair Gap, Hawk Mountain, Hightower Gap, Coopers Gap, and Gooch Gap into Suches. The ride will last about four and a half hours.
