Fannin County voters have a final chance to cast their ballots in the January 5, 2021, General Election Runoff when polls open next Tuesday.
All precincts will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The runoff features three races total: two hotly contested for United States Senate seats in Georgia and one for Public Service Commission.
Absentee ballots have to be requested by January 1, and ballots can be tracked online at www.Georgia.ballottrax.net.
Voters can also check the status of their absentee ballot through their My Voter Profile on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ga.gov.
They can also call the Fannin County election office at 706-632-7740, and they will check the status.
Absentee Ballots can be mailed or dropped off in the Ballot Box in front of the Fannin County Courthouse. The ballots must arrive by 7 p.m. January 5 in order to be counted.
