The arts and crafts sale held customarily in the fall and spring at the Old State Farmer’s Market in Blue Ridge, has a new name but needs vendors and a formal organizer.
Octoberfest Arts & Crafts Sale, previously called Fall Fest Arts & Crafts Sale and organized by Fannin County Fire Explorer Post 401, will take place the weekend of October 19 and 20, and the weekend of October 26 and 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Event representative Selva Watkins said a few of the vendors got together and organized this fall show but that they are looking for a sponsor, someone who can take the reins and organize the events in the future.
She also said vendors are needed to sign up to show and sell their wares. The cost is $50 per weekend and the funds will be used to coordinate the springtime festival.
