Mt. Moriah Baptist Church will hold a live nativity drive-thru for members of the community again this year.
Folks will have the opportunity to view the live event Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days.
Visitors can witness the story of Jesus from the comfort of their cars. The 15 scenes begin with the angel appearing to Mary, telling her she would bear a special child.
Cars will then proceed from scene to scene, including the iconic manger scene where baby Jesus is with his mom and dad, Joseph and Mary, alongside live farm animals.
Spectators will then see other important pieces of Jesus’ life, finally ending with His ascension into heaven.
Narrators will be reading about each scene so folks can learn the story of Jesus. Live animals will be a part of the story and people are welcome to take photos.
Mt. Moriah is located at 4127 Highway 2 in Blue Ridge.The live nativity will take place rain or shine.
