Meals free for Fannin students

The 2021-2022 school year begins Friday, July 30, for Fannin County students, so there are some things that parents or guardians need to know.

There will be no cost to students for school breakfast or lunches for the 2021-2022 school year. This is made possible because the school system is operating under the guidance of the Seamless Summer Option.

During their May 13 meeting, Fannin County Board of Education members approved the free meals.

At the same tiome, the adult lunch price will increase $0.05 to $4.55, while the adult breakfast price will remain the same at $2.25.
