McCaysville’s mayor and council will host a public hearing Wednesday, September 2, starting at 6:30 p.m. at city hall to hear what citizens have to say about the FY 2020-21 budget.
The budget is available for inspection at city hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.
The budget outlines operating expenses for all the city departments, projected revenues, and capital improvements.
The mayor and council intend to adopt the budget, which covers the fiscal year July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, at their regular meeting Tuesday, September 7.
