Fannin County School System’s kindergarten registration will open Monday, April 20 and continue through Friday, April 24.
Children who have attained the age of five on or before September 1, 2020 will be eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.
Due to the COVID-19 school closure, kindergarten registration for Fall 2020 will be conducted either using the online enrollment form or by calling the elementary school in the child’s attendance zone.
The custodial parent/guardian of the child is the only one authorized to complete the enrollment process.
The 911 address of the child’s residence must be used when enrolling, and they must be enrolled in the district they reside. Not enrolling in the appropriate district could result in a transfer of the student.
Those who have a question regarding which district they are zoned to attend can contact the transportation department Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 706-632-7802.
