Folk stories invited to The Art Center July 11

Got some old folk stories or recounts of the Appalachian origin? Share them at The Art Center Saturday, July 11 and/or Friday, July 17 at 6 p.m.

The folks of Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (BRMAA) will be there to recount true stories of life, customs and traditions of Southern Appalachian life in North Georgia.

The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit BRMAA and the Foxfire Fund, LLC.

The Foxfire Fund, Inc. is a heritage preservation organization who’s mission is to preserve the traditions of southern Appalachia.
