Dale Dyer dominates nine holes of golf

    Dale Dyer hit the fairway with friends to play nine holes of golf Thursday, June 11.

    Dyer, who is 100 years old, started strong and was able to finish strong, scoring below his age.

    Dyer was accompanied by friends Ron Hartness, age 79, Bill Huff, age 88, and Dr. Howard Tilley, age 83. Dyer said, “The boys were very helpful to me in a lot of ways.”

    “I appreciate it. I was enjoying it a lot.”

    Hartness spoke highly of Dyer and the others saying, “Dale is such a sport, he loves golf, and we enjoy getting out there with him.” Hartness also said they are working on a tee time for next year.
