The Tennessee County Trustee’s Association honored Gina Burchfiel with the distinct honor of Outstanding Tennessee Trustee of the Year Award, May 16, 2024.
This honor recognizes the outstanding Trustee for the entire State of Tennessee for their exemplary service to the State of Tennessee, To the Citizens of their county through their dedicated public service.
Gina served as Deputy Trustee for 10 years prior to being elected as County Trustee in 2014. She is well-known for her accessibility, ensuring all community members can reach her, no matter what time of day or day of the week. She goes the extra mile to ensure citizens are treated in a courteous and professional manner with great respect.
She is married to Jeff. They have a daughter, Brooklyn, who is married to their son-in-love, Timothy. Gina is an active member of the Tennessee County Trustees Association, East Tennessee Trustees Association, and currently serves as the 4th Vice President of the County Officials Association of TN (COAT). COAT is a statewide organization comprised of Trustees, Clerks of Court, County Clerks, and the Registers of Deeds from all counties of Tennessee.
