Snack in a Backpack saw hundreds of people travel to Mercier Orchards Saturday, February 22, for their annual Bringin’ the Blues to Blue Ridge event, where funds were raised to help the organization’s fight to decrease childhood hunger in Fannin County. Local businesses and individuals donated a variety of items, tickets and gift certificates to help the organization raise money to decrease childhood hunger in Fannin County.

Snack in a Backpack Executive Director Debby Beck enjoyed the festivities during the organization’s annual Bringin’ the Blues to Blue Ridge fundraiser. Funds were raised to help the organization decrease childhood hunger in Fannin County by preparing sack meals for children who may not have any other options for food.
