Thomas Andrew Frontcakas, 63, is held without bond in the Fannin County Jail on charges he tried to sabotage law enforcement vehicles.
Frontcakas, of 21874 Morganton Highway, Suches, is accused of throwing construction screws/nails in designated parking areas for Blue Ridge Police Department (BRPD) and Georgia State Patrol (GSP) vehicles. Targeted were the parking areas at GSP Post 27 in Blue Ridge, in front of the BRPD on Church Street in Blue Ridge, and the designated parking area for law enforcement vehicles at Walmart.
Investigator Lieutenant R.T. Henry of the Blue Ridge Police Department said he swore out 16 felony warrants charging Frontcakas with Criminal Attempt, Interference with Government Property; one felony count of Interference with Government Property; and 17 misdemeanor counts of littering.
Henry said the suspect is accused of littering various parking areas at least 17 times between December 12, 2024, and July 4, 2025, prior to his arrest July 6. Over 5,000 screws/nails were estimated to have been thrown. Two tires were flattened during that time.
Henry said video surveillance was used in developing the case against Frontcakas.
Frontcakas was arrested by Blairsville police and returned to Fannin County.
Fannin County Chief Magistrate Judge Brian Jones denied bond.
