Fannin County High School (FCHS) and Fannin County Middle School (FCMS) Technology Student Associations (TSA) competed at the Georgia TSA State Conference in Athens, Georgia, March 16 to March 19.
Students were given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in competitions ranging from electric go carts to computer programming to public speaking.
“I am very proud of our students in TSA in Fannin County,” Engineering Teacher and TSA Advisor Bubba Gibbs said. “I am particularly proud of the FCMS students for being the fifth best overall chapter and earning the opportunity to travel to Dallas, Texas, this summer for the National TSA Conference.”
The FCHS students who placed at State are:

Bryce Ware, fifth place, Outstanding Student;
Electric Vehicle Team, sixth place;
Bryce Ware, seventh place, Electrical Applications;
Samuel Jabaley, ninth place, Essays on Technology;
Carnaceo Dixon and Seth Hughes, 11th place, Webmaster;
James Kyle and John Little, 12th place, Coding;
Tanner Hamby, 13th place, Architectural Design;
Logan Martin,14th place, Board Game Design; and,
McKenzie Chastain, 15th place, Prepared Presentation.

La’Cole Moler and Katelyn Clark, 10th place, Children’s Stories.
Also at the conference, Bryce Ware was elected at the Sergeant at Arms for the State of Georgia TSA Chapter. Ware will be one of seven officers leading Georgia TSA in the 2022-2023 school year.
