The Fannin County wrestling team competed in the state sectionals Saturday, February 8. Fannin performed well with five wrestlers punching their ticket to the State Tournament in Macon, Georgia. Kainan Henson, Grayson Patterson, Landon Galloway and McCay Turner finished as sectional runner-ups, while Corbin Davenport was able to claim fifth place.
The Rebels traveled to Macon for the State Tournament and shined as four Rebel wrestlers placed. McCay Turner, Landon Galloway and Grayson Patterson brought home the third place trophy for their respective class and Kainan Henson placed sixth. Galloway made history as well, being the first four-time state place winner in Fannin County High School history.
