Three players from this year’s 2023 Copper Basin Cougar baseball team have been awarded All-District honors.
Senior Isaac Deal, junior Avery Crowder, and fellow junior Bryce Walden all made the first team, which is voted on by the other head coaches in the district.
Deal led the Cougars with a .538 batting average and also led the team with 28 base hits and had nine RBI’s. He had an on-base percentage of .571, which also led the Cougars.
Crowder hit at a .362 clip and led the team with six doubles and his on-base percentage was .446. Walden had a batting average of .425, scoring nine runs and had an on-base percentage of .549.
