The Fannin County High School Lady Rebel Track & Field Team came home with the first place prize from the Model Six Land Spectacular where they competed against Model, Coosa, Haralson, Oak Mountain Academy, and Unity Christian School.
The top three athletes in each event and the top three relays in each relay scored points for the Lady Rebels. The following earned those top three spots for Fannin County:
•Lynnex Patterson, third in the 100 meter Dash and third in the 200 meter Dash;
•Ava Acker, first in the 400 meter Dash;
•Kensley Pickelsimer, second in the 800 meter Run;
•Charlotte Vallejo, third in the 800 meter Run;
•Karli Sams, second in the 1600 meter Run;
•Lola Temples, third in the 1600 meter Run;
•Sydney Ford, second in the 3200 meter Run;
•Garin Rickenbaker, thir3rd in the 3200 meter Run;
•Airianna Galloway, second in the 300 meter Hurdles;
•Sadie Patton, first in High Jump, second in Long Jump, and first in Triple Jump;
•Toccoa Hampton, second in High Jump;
•Adia Galloway, second in Pole Vault;
•Presley Daves, first in Discus and first in Shot Put; and,
•Sydney German, second in Discus and second in Shot Put.
The girls 4x800 meter Relay Team of Lola Temples, Garin Rickenbaker, Ava Acker, and Karli Sams finished first.
The girls 4x400 meter Relay Team of Airianna Galloway, Lana Hicks, Karli Sams, and Ava Acker placed first.
The girls 4x200 meter Relay Team of Annaleigh Cheatham, Kate Freeman, Venice Oliver, and Lynnex Patterson placed third.
The girls 4x100 meter Relay Team made up of Annaleigh Cheatham, Sam Freeman, Venice Oliver, and Lynnex Patterson finished third.
Also, Presley Daves is currently ranked in the Top 50 in all of Georgia (all classifications) in Discus, Sadie Patton is currently ranked in the Top 50 in all of Georgia (all classifications) in High Jump, and the 4x800 meter relay team is ranked in the Top 25 in all of Georgia (all classifications).
The Lady Rebels Track & Field team’s next competition will be the Senior Night home meet Monday, March 16, at Fannin County High School.

•Cash Cochran, second in High Jump;
•Tristan Bernier, first in Triple Jump;
•Alex Barber, third in Triple Jump;
•Breven Hennessey, first in Pole Vault;
•Conrad Head, second in Pole Vault, and,
•Isaac Watkins, first in Shot Put and third in Discus.
The boys 4x400 meter Relay team of Gabe Pirkle, Hudson Lynch, Winn Rickenbaker, and Braxton Cheatham placed second.
The boys 4x800 meter Relay team of Jamari Dunn, Kyler Wilson, Winn Rickenbaker, and Jamari Dunn placed first.
Additionally, Isaac Watkins is currently ranked in the Top 50 in all of Georgia (all classifications) in Shot Put.
The Rebels Track & Field team will compete next at the Senior Night home meet scheduled for Monday, March 16, at FCHS.
