Seniors claim 100th dual team victory

    The Fannin County High School wrestling team finished second in the Clash at the Creek Tournament this past weekend.

    During Friday night’s matches, Fannin beat Calhoun 69 to 4, Ringgold 54 to 19 and North Hall 61 to 15.

    Saturday morning’s matches saw the Fannin team tie for second of out 21 teams. They defeated Blessed Trinity 42 to 29 and Brentwood 47 to 33. They lost to Rockmart in the championship pool 54 to 30.

    With the win over Blessed Trinity, the Senior class claimed their 100th dual team win.
