Fannin County’s offensive line was named a Line of Distinction by Georgia High School Football Daily for its performance Friday, September 8, against the Pickens High School Dragons.
The group of seven Rebels were recognized for allowing zero sacks, committing no penaities, and producing 319 rushing yards in the 55-28 victory. The game marked the second straight when the group paved the way for over 300 rushing yards.
Recognized for their combined performance were Jacob Green, Case Holloway, Jacob Dye, Baylor Twiggs, Isaac Watkins, Noah Burnette and John Holsonback.
This Friday night the line’s skills will again be put to the test as they travel to Murphy, North Carolina, to take on the Bulldogs. the Bulldogs are coming off a 49-27 victory of Smoky Mountain.
