The Fannin County Rebel wrestling team recently competed in the 515 Classic Wednesday, December 18, and the “Fight Before Christmas” at Denmark High School Saturday, December 21.
In the 515 Classic, the Rebels were able to top the Pickens County Dragons with an electric 66-12 win.
Fannin County started out strong against the Gilmer County Bobcats as well, but fell 47-29 to split the games.
The Rebels then traveled to Denmark High School to compete in the “Fight Before Christmas.”
Fannin County dominated the day, winning first place in the tournament.
