Rebels fall short at home

The Rebels baseball team hosted Haralson County for their last home region match up Tuesday, April 18. Fannin came off the field with a 7-2 loss.

Haralson took a quick lead with three runs in the first inning while Fannin’s Clay Heaton fought for Rebel run.

The time on the mound was split between four Rebel pitchers. Colton Gray led off and faced five batter. Bristol Hughes threw for four innings facing 16 batters. Gavin Davis pitched for two innings facing seven batters. Gaige Foster closed out the seventh inning facing eight batters.

No one would score in the second inning, but Haralson added two more run in the third.

The Rebels wouldn’t score again until the seventh inning as Gray crossed home plate. Haralson added two more to their total making the final score 2-7 in Haralson County’s favor.

After the game, the Rebels honored seniors Bryson Holloway, Conner Martin, Hayden Danner and Clay Heaton.
