REBELS ADVANCE IN STATE TITLE HUNT

[A] The Fannin County High School wrestling team is shown Friday, January 14, after qualifying for Elite 8 Dual Team Playoffs by defeating Booker T. Washington 76-3 and Toombs County 37-31 in Sweet 16 matches held at Fannin County High School. This is the first time Fannin wrestlers have qualified for state duals, head coach Chuck Patterson said. The Rebels were scheduled to wrestle Saturday at Bremen High School against Lovett. A victory against Lovett would advance the Rebels to matches against the Haralson-Dade County winner.
