The Fannin County Rebels wrestling team is off to a red hot start for the 2019-2020 season. Fannin faced off against East Jackson, Dawson County and Blessed Trinity Saturday, November 23. The Rebels ended the day going 3-0 and now have a 10-1 record on the season.
In the game against the East Jackson Eagles the Rebels dominated, winning 72-5. After the win, Fannin faced region rival Dawson County.
The Rebels were able to best the Tigers 57-18, for a region win.
The Rebels then faced Blessed Trinity High School.
Fannin found themselves in a battle early, but was able to pull out the win as they topped the Titans 48-32.
The Rebels now look ahead to the Robbinsville Dual Monday, December 9, starting at 5 p.m. at Robbinsville.
