Rebel wrestlers beat Swain County

    The Fannin County High School wrestling team won their first home match Friday, December 2 against Swain County, North Carolina.

    Blake Summers, Cooper Moreland, Carson Collis, Tristan Siler, Drake Cantrell, Corbin Davenport, Christen Newberry and Logan Long all won their matches by pin.

    Thomas Golden won his match by decision.

    These wins allowed the Rebels wrestling team to win 45 to 27 against the Swain County team.

    The wrestling team be at home Tuesday, December 13 at 5 p.m. for the Senior Night match against Armuchee.
