Reagan York signs to play basketball at Piedmont Univ.

    Fannin County High School (FCHS) senior Reagan York signed her letter of intent Sunday, April 24, to play college basketball at Piedmont University.

    York has played basketball at FCHS all four years of her high school career.

    She was selected for second team All Region in 2021, first team All Region in 2022, and was named to the 2021 ETC All Tournament Team.

    She was awarded the 2020 6th Man of the Year Award, the 2021 All Around Impact Award, and the 2022 Standard of Excellence Award by her coaches.

    She was also a 2022 basketball team captain and a 2022 volleyball team captain.

    She plans to continue her education and pursue a degree in nursing.

    Shannon York, her mother who is also the FCHS athletic director, said, “We are so thankful for all our friends and family who have helped raise her and love on her and those who came to support her!”
