The Fannin County Lady Rebels soccer team hosted the Pickens County Dragonettes Tuesday, March 3.
Both teams played well in the first half, holding each other scoreless, but Fannin came alive offensively in the second half to win the game 3-0
Ivy Hyde scored the first goal for the Lady Rebels around the 31 minute mark in the second half.
Ashley Frye was able to put Fannin up 2-0 by scoring a goal on a penalty kick with 29:38 to go in the second.
Ana Arvidson scored the third and final goal with 5:46 to go in the game to give the Lady Rebels a 3-0 lead.
Goalkeeper Rachael Jessen recorded five saves in the game as well.
Kinsley Sullivan, Chelsey Frye, Taylor Poland, Annabel Lillard and Sydnie Jones played a key part in Fannin’s victory as well.
