The Fannin County Lady Rebels soccer team erupted on offense from the opening minutes Monday, March 22, scoring five goals in the first half, which was followed by one goal in the second to top region rival, the Dade County Lady Wolverines 6-0.
Ana Arvidson led the Lady Rebels with three goals in the contest. Kinsley Sullivan had two goals and Samantha Rosas netted one.
Hannah Sosebee, Sullivan, Ivy Hyde, Stephanie Kirk and Jasmine Anderson had one assist each, and goalkeeper Rachael Jessen had two saves in the game.
The Lady Rebels’ win put them at 6-1 on the season and 4-1 in region play. The record currently puts them in second place behind the undefeated Model Blue Devils.
