LADY REBELS FALL TO VIKINGS

The Fannin County Lady Rebels softball team traveled to East Hall Tuesday, September 10, for a region match up with the East Hall Lady Vikings.

East Hall started strong and the Lady Rebels could not recover in the game, as they fell to the Lady Vikings 15-0.

Kaelyn Hensley and Kinley Long split pitching duties for the Lady Rebels, each throwing one and one third innings.

Fannin batted in the top of the first as Eryn Mealer led off and crushed a double to right field. 

Fannin was unable to cross home plate however, as the Lady Rebels took the field. The Lady Vikings crossed home plate six times in the bottom of the first before Hensley and Riley Davis could get three outs to get Fannin off the field.

At the end of the first inning East Hall led 6-0.

The Lady Rebels could not generate any runs in the top of the second as the Lady Vikings got three outs and got off the field.

East Hall score six runs before Emma Mitchell and Hensley got three outs. The Lady Vikings led 12-0 at the start of the third inning.

The Lady Rebels were unable to cross home plate in the top of the third, while East Hall scored three runs in the bottom of the inning to seal the game.
