Flag Rebels enter playoffs

The Fannin County flag football team has wrapped up an extraordinary 14-1 regular season and entered playoff competition.

This year’s success has been driven by a talented trio of quarterbacks, an unstoppable ground game, and a defense that consistently shuts down opponents.

Quarterbacks Callie Ensley, Bridgett Allen and Kendall Gaddis have been a major offensive force, combining for over 1,200 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

On the ground, the team has amassed over 1,500 rushing yards, led by senior standouts Caylee Gaddis and Mikayla Holloway. Together, the dynamic tandem has contributed more than 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns.

In the receiving game, seniors Caylee Gaddis and Brayden Whitener have been the primary targets, combining for over 850 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

The defense has allowed an average of less than seven points a game.

Fannin headed into the region tournament November 19 as a two seed from the west side of Area 7.
