The Rebels baseball team posted another region win over the North Murray Mountaineers 5-1 Saturday, March 25.
Bristol Hughes led things off on the mound for Fannin. Hughes surrendered only one run with two hits and ten strikeouts over seven innings.
Carson Callihan put up the first run of the night in the first inning.
In the second, Colton Gray and Elijah Weaver, Hayden Danner’s courtesy runner, both score to put the Rebels up 3-0.
North Murray added their singular run in the bottom of the fourth after an error.
Callihan’s single sent Bryce Burnette home and Bryson Holloway scored on an error for the last two runs of the game during the sixth inning.
Out of eight hits, the Rebels earned five runs which was enough for a Fannin win over the Mountaineers.
