Fannin County High School tennis teams members honored at banquet

With the tennis season at an end, it was time for the Rebels to celebrate their achievements at a Sunday, May 18 banquet.

Coach Suzianne Pass had many achievements to recognize.

This year, the boys made it to the Georgia High School Association’s first round of playoffs, and the girls made it to the Sweet 16.

The team has no graduating seniors, so they will likely enter next year with an extremely experienced lineup.

Academic awards for having a 4.0 GPA went to Kendall Clore, Izzie Jabaley, Taber Pass, Sadie Patton, Garrett Pittman, Henry Schueneman, Maddie Schueneman, Piper Stroemer and Austin Prieto.

Academic awards for having a 3.5 GPA went to Jonathan Bewley, Madden Deeter, Jamison Dickey, Cayson Mitchell and Odin Rea-Gutierrez.

Pittman, Deeter, Prieto, Mitchell, Henry Schueneman and Cash Goulah all received state tournament recognition.

Jabaley, Mitchell, Pittman, Prieto, and Maddie Schueneman all won their varsity letters for the second time.

Clore won her varsity letter for the third time.

The Lady Rebel award went to Patton, and the Rebel award went to Mitchell.
