The Fannin County Rebel and Lady Rebel cross country team traveled to Tallulah Falls, Georgia, Tuesday, September 7, to compete in the Cookies ‘N Quotes Cross County Meet.
The meet saw 11 girls’ teams and 76 runners, while the boys’ team faced off against 13 teams and 105 runners.
Both the Rebels and Lady Rebels earned a fourth place finish for their times as a team.
The Lady Rebel individual results were:
• Carlee Holloway, eighth place, 23:54.30;
• Lindsay Holloway, 13th place, 24:33.40;
• Kinsley Sulivan, 30th place, 27:33.40;
• Shaylee Jones, 46th place, 29:47.63;
• Jaclyn Cracknell, 50th place, 30:07.48;
• Taylor Poland, 52nd place, 30:22.07;
• Brysen Holloway, 74th place, 36:32.84.
For the Rebels, individual placers were:
• Gavin Davis, 11th place, 19:10.30;
• Zechariah Prater, 18th place, 19:45.41;
• Phoenix Leifer, 21st place, 19:50.67;
• Benjamin Bloch, 26th place, 20:15.56;
• Luke Callihan, 47th place, 21:14.84;
• Sam Jabaley, 54th place, 21:55.48;
• James Kyle, 59th place, 22:11.26;
• Samuel McGill, 88th place, 24:33.87;
• Brady Smith, 41st place junior varsity finish, 34:14.04.
The Lady Rebels and Rebels cross country teams will compete in the North Georgia Championship meet at Clear Creek Middle School Tuesday, September 21, at 4:30 p.m.
