Fannin County High School track and field athletes and relay teams ranked in Georgia’s Top 50 competed at Roswell High School Saturday, March 21, against elite competition from throughout the state.
Athletes and relay teams who placed in the top eight scored points for the team and those placing in the top three received a medal.
Presley Daves placed third in Discus with a throw of 110 feet and 6 inches. She continues to be ranked 21 in all classifications in the state in Discus.
The boys 4x800 meter Relay Team of Winn Rickenbaker, Jamari Dunn, Hudson Lynch and Braxton Cheatham placed third with a school-record time of 8:26.15. This team is now ranked 32 statewide in all classifications.
Sadie Patton placed fourth in High Jump.
The girls 4x800 meter Relay Team of Lola Temples, Kensley Pickelsimer, Ava Acker and Karli Sams finished fourth. This team continues to be ranked 18 in all Georgia classifications.
