Braylee Davenport scored 16 points, and Reese Lewis had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Fannin County Lady Rebels defeated Gordon Central, 88-5, Tuesday, January 13.
The first quarter was the best for Fannin as they outscored Gordon Central 32-2. Maggie Ledford scored 10 points in the quarter. The Lady Rebels got out to a 57-5 lead at halftime before closing out the victory.
Izzie Jabaley, Kylie Breeden, and Davenport each hit multiple three-pointers for Fannin County Varsity Lady Rebels. The team blocked three shots, grabbed 24 steals, and rebounded the ball well, collecting 44 rebounds. Lewis led the team with 10 rebounds. The Lady Rebels also passed the ball well with 20 assists on 34 made baskets. Avi Ethington led the team with five assists.
Scoring for the Lady Rebels was Davenport with 16 points, Ledford adding 13 points, Lewis putting in 12 points, Jabaley and Brooklyn Owenby with 11 points each, Toccoa Hampton scoring 7 points, Breeden putting up 6 points, Albany Cole and Ethington adding 5 points and Kendall Gaddis scoring 2 points.
