    Fannin County High School’s cross country team gathered November 16 to celebrate its season with an end of the year banquet.

    About 100 people gathered to celebrate this year’s accomplishments.

    Head coach Suzianne Pass said, “The cross country team and coaches would like to thank all of the parents and supporters for a great year.  The booster club was very supportive and worked very hard to make sure our athletes had what they needed each day. We would like to thank all of our bus drivers who make sure we arrive on time and at the right place each meet.   We would also like to thank all of our sponsors for their donations during the season and The News Observer for its coverage.”
