Cross country runners honored at annual banquet

Fannin County High School seniors were recognized for their four year accomplishments at the Cross Country teams annual banquet. Shown with their awards are, from left, Zechariah Prater, Luke Callihan, Kristen Cipich, Shaylee Jones, and Olivia Temples.

Olivia Temples was honored with cross country’s Coaches Award/In It To Win It.

Female Lady Rebels who received their cross country team letters at the annual banquet were, from left, Kristin Cipich, Olivia Temples, Shaylee Jones, Jaclyn Cracknell, MaKaylee Clore, Lindsey Holloway, Karli Sams, Kensley, Picklesimer, Annaleigh Cheatham, and Sydney Ford.

The cross country Gone to Work award went to Karli Sams, left, and Rylin Davis.

Male Rebels who received their cross country team letters at the annual banquet were, from left, first row, Zechariah Prater, Conner Kyle, Gage Bryan, Rylin Davis, Austin Prieto, Jonathan Jones, Aiden Hamby , and Koen Verner; second row, Cayson Mitchell, Mason Sandefer, and Caden Cantrell; and, third row, Luke Callihan. Not pictured is Brady Smith.

Shaylee Jones was named Lady Rebel Award winner and Gage Bryan received the Rebel Award for the cross country team.

Earning cross country Rookie Awards were Sydney Ford and Koen Verner.

Runners of the Year on the cross country team were Lindsey Holloway, left, and Zechariah Prater.

Teammate of the Year honors for cross country went to Luke Callihan and Kristen Cipich.
