The Humane Society of Blue Ridge cat of the week is Shannon. This one-year-old beauty had three kittens and was the purrfect mom to them. Her kittens were adopted and now Shannon is ready to enjoy life as an empty nester. She is quite loving, enjoys people and gets along with other cats once she gets to know them. Fannin County Animal Control had 15 dogs in their care as of Wednesday morning, May 4.
This past week, six dogs were taken in, while two were adopted.
One dog was reclaimed by their owner.
