Fannin County Animal Control has decided to offer donation packages for anyone willing to provide monetary support.
There are five packages that break down how the money will be put to use.
The Top Dog Package is offered for $100 and will provide heartworm testing for 10 dogs or flea and tick prevention for one year.
The Man’s Best Friend Package costs $72 and will provide rabies vaccines for six dogs.
The Canine Champion Package costs $60 and covers the cost to spay or neuter one dog.
The Pooch Package costs $30 and covers the cost of one health certificate, which is needed for out of state rescue transports.
The Pup Package costs $10 and covers general costs for things like flea shampoo, leashes and collars.
Donations of any kind, of any amount are always welcomed and appreciated. Typically, monetary donations are used to cover unusually high medical bills for injured animals brought to the facility.
Animal control is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park, Blue Ridge, or contact them by calling 706-632-3845.
