    The dogs at Fannin County Animal Control are ready to be adopted into their forever homes.

    This past week, three dogs were taken in, while three were adopted, and another was reclaimed.

    The Humane Society of Blue Ridge took one dog.

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

    The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

    To reclaim dogs, their owners must show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination or pay to have them vaccinated.
