City residents must be registered to vote by February 24. This can be done with the Secretary of State or at the Fannin County board of Elections office on the third floor of the county courthouse.

Advanced voting begins March 2 at City Hall and will continue through March 20.

Absentee ballots will be mailed out beginning March 2 and applications will be available from Absentee Ballot Clerk Rebecca Harkins at the City Hall during normal business hours.

Gaddis resigned his seat in August of last year after he moved to McCaysville.
