Faith Presbyterian Church invites the community to partake in their Advent and Christmas Focus “What Can’t Wait,” starting Sunday, December 1.
Pastor Jim Simpson said “What Can’t Wait” is an invitation for everyone from God “to consider what the coming of our Savior asks of all of us.”
Each week, the church will focus on the different features of “what can’t wait,” which are courage, forgiveness, delight and love.
In addition, the church will serve Wednesday Advent Lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. December 4, 11 and 18. Lunch is open for anyone who wants to enjoy food, conversation and scripture centered activities.
Their choir will present “And There was Light” Christmas Cantata Sunday, December 15, at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held Tuesday, December 24 at 5 p.m., preceded by the Prelude of Carols at 4:30 p.m.
Simpson said, “This theme and the Services of Worship, Advent lunches and other activities hosted by the congregation offers an opportunity to consider God’s purposes for our lives and our relationships with and to our neighbors as we Celebrate God’s coming to us in our Savior, Jesus Christ.”
