Awake America Prayer Meetings is asking for donations of warm winter wear for children.
Needed items include gloves, scarves, coats, tights and socks. All children’s sizes are needed. Gently worn and smoke free coats will be accepted.
The winter wear will primarily aid children in Polk County, Tennessee, with left over items taken to Atlanta homeless shelters.
Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at Blue Ridge Chiropractic and Life Center, 5 Fain St. in Blue Ridge; Ducktown City Hall, 132 Main St. in Ducktown, Tennessee; Benton City Hall, 6496 US-411 in Benton, Tennessee; and at World Harvest Church, 135 Bud Franklin Dr. in Blairsville, Georgia, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
