You never know what kind of dog is going to come through Fannin County Animal Control, but almost always, they end up making a family very happy. Don’t miss out on a great addition to the family.

All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.

This past week, 15 dogs were taken in, while one was adopted, and another was reclaimed.

No rescues took any dogs this week.

Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call at 706-632-3845 or visiting www.petfinder.com.

Anyone who would like to make donations for improvements to the facility or for the care of the dogs may do so by visiting www.fannincountyga.com/animal-control/.

Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
