City of Blue Ridge voters can now head to City Hall and cast votes for the city council post three seat vacated by Ken Gaddis.
Mike Panter and Brian Higgins are facing each other to fill the spot.
Absentee ballots are being mailed as requested by voters, and early voting began Monday, March 2 and will continue until March 20.
“We wish they (voters) would come in,” Election Superintendent Barbie Gerald said. “I think we’ve had 10” as of Thursday, March 5.
Those who wish to early vote may do so Monday through Friday at City Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The official election day is scheduled for March 24 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
