Fannin County voters who are not currently registered to vote have through next Monday, December 7, to do so in order to vote in the January 5, 2021, General Election Runoff.
The runoff will feature three races, and statewide early voting is set to begin Monday, December 14.
The runoff will include races for both US Senate seats from Georgia, one where Republican Kelly Loeffler, the incumbent, will face Democrat Raphael Warnock, and the other pitting Republican David Perdue, the incumbent, against Democrat Jon Ossoff.
The third race will be for Public Service Commission District 4, where Republican Lauren Bubba McDonald, Jr., the incumbent, will face Democrat Daniel Blackman.

Those wishing to vote by Absentee Ballot will need to request one by January 1.
Ballots can be requested online at https://ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov using a Georgia Driver’s License or State ID. Ballots can be tracked online at Georgia.ballottrax.net. Voters can also check the status of their absentee ballot through their My Voter Profile on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ga.gov. They can also call the Election Office at 706-632-7740, and they will check the status.
Absentee Ballots can be mailed or dropped off in the Ballot Box in front of the Fannin County Courthouse. The ballots must arrive by 7 p.m. January 5 in order to be counted.
All precincts will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
