The Veterans Day Parade and Memorial Service in Blue Ridge will be held November 12, to commemorate all those who have fought in the military for our country.
The day will begin with a breakfast from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. for all veterans at St. Anthony Catholic Church on East Main Street in Blue Ridge.
The lineup for the parade will begin at 10:15 a.m., and the annual Veterans Day parade will follow at 11 a.m.
The parade will start from the corner of East Main and Church streets in downtown Blue Ridge and continue along East Main through downtown to East First Street, then to Veterans Memorial Park on Old Highway 76, across from Fannin County Middle School.
The parade will include the Fannin County High School band, members of the military, antique and emergency vehicles and representatives from several veterans’ organizations.
The memorial service will begin at 11:59 a.m.
Veterans Memorial Park is located at 4584 Old Highway 76, next to the Fannin County Middle School.
